About the Amateur Radio Club
Founded in 1985, the Amateur Radio Club (AARC) has been serving the amateur radio community for over 40 years. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the art and science of amateur radio communication.
Our Mission
To advance the amateur radio service by:
- Promoting technical excellence and operating proficiency
- Providing education and training for new and experienced operators
- Supporting emergency communications and public service
- Fostering fellowship among radio amateurs
- Advocating for amateur radio at local and national levels
Our History
1985: Club founded by a small group of radio enthusiasts 1990: Established our first club repeater 1995: Achieved ARRL Special Service Club status 2000: Built our current club station 2010: Launched annual scholarship program for students 2020: Expanded to include digital and satellite communications 2025: Celebrating 40 years of service to the amateur radio community

Join Us
Membership is open to all licensed amateur radio operators and those interested in obtaining a license. Annual dues are $30 for individuals and $45 for families.
